Obituary of Kristin T McIlvaine

Kristin T. McIlvaine (Tregellas), age 59, of Pitman, NJ died on July 17, 2022. She was a loving Wife, Mother, Grandmother, Daughter, Sister, Aunt and Friend. She was devoted to Christ and lived with unwavering faith in God. She was incredibly kind and welcoming to all. She always had a smile on her face and lit up every room she walked into. Kristin was unbelievably generous with her time and gifts. She was a mentor, teacher and friend to many. She loved going down to the shore with her family and friends. Kristin was very active and loved kayaking, biking, walking, swimming in the ocean, golfing and much more. She made everyone she met feel like family and there wasn't a stranger she couldn't turn into a friend if you gave her five minutes. Kristin enjoyed going to dinner, sporting events, the theatre, all types of music, watching movies and spending quality time with family. Kristin was a successful business woman and CPA who owned and operated two businesses and was the owner of McIlvaine and Associates LLC in Pitman. She was an active member of the Pitman United Methodist Church and served as Financial Chairwoman for 20 years. Kristin was a bank CFO and Board of Directors member. She was a Graduate of Lafyette College (BS Econ & Accounting) and received her Masters from Widener University (Taxation, Financial Planning & Services). Kristin was also an Adjunct Professor of Finance. She is survived by her husband of 35 years, Michael J. McIlvaine Sr., children Kaitlyn (Wyatt) Jones, Michael J. McIlvaine Jr., parents Nancy (Yocum) and Jay Tregellas, sister Cheryl (Robert) Albertson, brother in laws Alfred McIlvaine and Robert (Michelle) McIlvaine, sister-in-law Cindi McIlvaine, granddaughter Ava Jones, nieces Rachel Albertson, Stacey McIlvaine, Regan McIlvaine, nephews Tim McIlvaine, Robbie Albertson and Tyler McIlvaine. Predeceased by Raymonde and Alfred McIlvaine, Bruce McIlvaine, Robyn McIlvaine and Kim McIlvaine. Friends may greet the family on Thursday 5:30-8:30pm and Friday 9-10:15am in the Pitman United Methodist Church, 758 N. Broadway, Pitman, NJ. Funeral service will be Friday at 10:30am.
