Sending heartfelt condolences to the Blackman family. I knew Phil and Barb many moons ago when Mr Blackman taught music in Runnemede school. He gathered up a group of us to help them pack up their apartment before they moved to Pitman. Good memories. He and Barb were genuinely warm and kind to all of the students. Sending prayers of comfort to the entire family. Grace Earl Kinkle

I've been friends with Barbara's husband Phil since elementary school and Little League in Linwood, NJ. We reconnected much later and found we both liked to attend Philadelphia Orchestra concerts at the Kimmel Center on Broad Street, Phila. And so did our wives, Barbara and Mary! Then we began to buy tickets to the same concerts and, before and/or after the performance, we could catch up. The last time we did this was on Feb. 19, 2022, to see the film "An American in Paris" with the Orchestra performing the soundtrack simultaneous with film. It was a GREAT night and I still have a photo of us in the lobby, with our winter coats and our Covid masks on (not so wild about those masks). It's really important to create memories like that, and not let excuses get in your way.

I will miss Barbara, we spent an hour every MWF in the pool exercising at Healtrax for years. We shared many hours together and got to know each other’s families. Barbara was a very determined person in many ways. She struggled to be the best she could be after her stroke. She was definitely a new age woman and was the ‘Queen’ of recycling, she gave us all a lot of information to follow. She truly adored her grandchildren. She will be missed. Condolences to her family.
Rest in peace Barbara, Barbara Piquet

My friend Barbara was a truly generous and loving person. I was always amazed by her many talents. She brought fabulous desserts to our annual New Year's Eve celebration. We shared a few Christmas dinners together where Barb brought her variety of desserts, her homemade candy, and homemade table favors for everyone. She was an extremely talented seamstress. I am lucky to own many things she made for me. I will miss our constant Words With Friends games that we have played together for the past five years. I am blessed that Barb crossed my path and was part of my life.
