Obituary of Edith Josephine Carrocino

Please share a memory of Edith to include in a keepsake book for family and friends.
Edith Josephine Carrocino passed away on August 7th, three days before her 92nd birthday. Edie was a loving and devoted sister, mother, grandmother and great-grandmother and her greatest joy was her family as she always cherished the time she spent with them. Edie was an absolute joy to all who knew her. She loved to cook her fabulous Italian food and bake her amazing pizzelles for everyone. She so enjoyed her many visits to the Jersey Shore with her family. Edie was so proud of her family, and she thoroughly enjoyed attending their sporting events even though she didn't always understand the rules of the game. She always managed to make each and every one feel so special and loved. Edie was pre-deceased by her parents Carmelo and Nunziata Savoca, and her loving brothers; Carmen, Joseph, Dominick, and Phillip. Edie is survived by her brother Gus and his wife Lori, her son Tom and his wife Peggy, her son Mike and his wife Sue, her daughter Joanne, her grandchildren, who she absolutely adored, Nathan (Kelly), Gregory, TC (Amy), Matthew (Regina) and Michelle (Chloe), her great- grandchildren; Nicholas, Noah, and the future John Thomas Carrocino, and many nieces and nephews. A Mass of Christian Burial for Edie will be celebrated on her birthday August 10, 2022 at 11:00 a.m., at Our Lady Queen of Peace Church, 161 Pitman Ave, Pitman, NJ, with visitation from 10:00 to 10:45 a.m. in the Kelley Funeral Home, 125 Pitman Ave, Pitman, NJ. In lieu of flowers, please consider a donation to your favorite charity in memory of Edie.
