Lillian Gasior Wozniak, age 89 years, went home to the Lord on October 14, 2022 at her home in South Harrison Twp., NJ. Born in Camden, NJ, she was graduated from St. Joseph High School in 1951. At Glassboro State Teachers College she was initiated into Kappa Delta Pi, and was graduated in 1955 with a degree in general elementary education. She taught third grade in Camden for three years before becoming a full-time mom and homemaker. While raising her family, she found time to be a room mother for her daughters and CCD teacher at Our Lady Queen of Peace Church. She and her family had lived in Pitman until 1980 when they moved to South Harrison Twp. Predeceased by her husband Dr. Edward G. Wozniak, and her brother Henry Gasior.
She is survived by her daughters; Laura (Michael) Laughlin of Wyoming, Marie (Dan) Darstein, Ellen Wozniak of Wyoming, Susan (Lester) Shoemaker, and beloved caregiver and "fifth daughter" Gina (Jesse) Dinovi; grandchildren; Emily (David) Bennett, Rebecca (Billy) Painter, Edward R. Darstein, Sara (AJ) Labra, and great granddaughters; Susie, Lillian, and Gracie. Also survived by her siblings; Edward (Carol) Gasior, Caroline (Phillip) Kelly, and Albert (Toni) Gasior.
Friends may call on Friday from 10AM to 11:45AM at the Catholic Community of the Holy Spirit Parish, 17 Earlington Ave, Mullica Hill, NJ, 08062. Funeral Mass at noon. Interment in the Parish Cemetery following mass. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations can be made to the Society of St. Vincent DePaul Food Pantry at the above address.
