Obituary of Franklin R. Kircher

Franklin R. Kircher, age 77, died on March 22, 2023 at his home in Pitman, NJ, where he lived all his life. Frank graduated from Pitman High School in 1964. At age 18, he began working for Mobil Oil, in Research and Development. Frank retired after 39 years. He was an exempt fireman with Pitman Fire Patrol since 1963, where he served as Chief for 11 years, and served on the Relief Association as the secretary for 52 years. He was an active member of the Pitman Masonic Lodge #197. Frank loved camping, skiing, and spending time with his family. He was an avid NASCAR fan and was also known to enjoy a glass of Jack Daniels…or two! He was predeceased by his beloved wife, Frances (Sweeney), parents Joanna Mae (Baker) and Franklin D. Kircher and brother Edwin J. Survived by his daughters Nicole (Robert) Butterick, Dawn (Donald) Bollinger, Leslie (Jeffrey) O'Brien, grandchildren Robert (Lisa) Butterick, Joseph (Francesca) Butterick, Franklin (Ashley) Butterick, Kimberly (William) Wolf, Anastasia Butterick (fiancé Wilbur Bass), Kelsee Dunn, Griffin Dunn, Dale Brown, Danielle Cassidy, 11 great grandchildren, sister Marie Aldrich and many nieces and nephews. Friends may greet the family on Monday 9:30-12:00pm in the Kelley Funeral Home, 125 Pitman Ave, PItman, NJ. Funeral service will be at 12:00pm. Interment at Hillcrest Memorial Park.
