Obituary of Teresa E. Fitzpatrick

Teresa E. Fitzpatrick (Restarski), age 80, passed away peacefully at home April 11, 2023. Teresa was born and raised in Philadelphia. As a teenager she met her husband, of 51 years, the late Stephen Fitzpatrick. Together they raised their family in Franklinville, NJ. Teresa was the daughter of the late Francis and Theresa Restarski. She was predeceased by her brother Francis Restarski. Teresa loved to read, the beach, dining out, casinos, and gardening….but most of all, Teresa loved being with her family. Teresa was a loving wife and mother who was always within easy reach. She instilled strong family values. Holidays were a favorite time spent with her children, grandchildren, and great-grandchildren. Teresa’s children smile because each was made to feel like they were her favorite. She had a loving relationship with her sons/daughter in laws. When not with her family, Teresa enjoyed spending time with her lifelong friends. Survived by her children Teresa (Jonny) Hossain, Stephen Fitzpatrick, Denise (Robert) Redmond, Donna (Dean) Fitzpatrick, Edward (Jennifer) Fitzpatrick; Seven grandchildren: William (Sarah), Alexandria, Daniel, Samantha (Corey), Kellianne, and Jacquelyn…sadly she was predeceased by her grandson Timothy; four great-grandchildren brought her special joy: Natalie, Matthew, Skylah, and Holden; Godchildren Eugenia and Kristie; In-Laws Stash McDermott and Kathleen Lawless; many cousins, nieces, and nephews. Over the years Teresa had her trusty companions, her dogs, she loved them dearly: Sheepy, Rue, Blackie, and Blue. Friends may greet the family Wednesday, April 19 from 8:30-10:15 am at Kelley Funeral Home, 125 Pitman Ave, Pitman, NJ. Funeral mass 10:30 am at Our Lady, Queen of Peace Church, 161 Pitman Ave, Pitman, NJ. 08071, Interment: Resurrection Cemetery, Bensalem, PA.
