Obituary of Daniel H. Maruso

Daniel H. Maruso, age 71 of Glassboro, NJ, died April 5, 2007 in the VITAS Hospice Unit of Kennedy Memorial Hospital, Stratford Division. He was born January 6, 1936 in New Castle, PA and was a resident of Glassboro for almost 50 years. He was a computer electronics specialist and retired in 2001. He was an active member of Calvary Hill Assembly of God, where his father Rev. Frank A. Maruso pastored from the late 1950's until the early 1960's. Predeceased by his wife of 46 years, Ruth (nee Chieppa), who died on March 1, 2007, his parents Frank and Rose Maruso, and his two brothers Calvin and James. Survived by his brothers Thomas (Caroline) of Erie, PA, David (Marie) of Trenton, NJ, and Paul of Tampa, FL, sisters Ruth (Amos) Massaro of New Castle, PA, Esther (Tommy) Seymour of Wetumpka, AL, many nieces, nephews, great nieces and great nephews. Friends may call on Monday, April 9 after 7 PM and on Tuesday after 10 AM in the KELLEY FUNERAL HOME, 125 Pitman Ave, Pitman, NJ. Funeral service with Rev. Donald Brasco and Rev. Dennis Massaro officiating will be at 11 AM. Interment at Eglington Cemetery. The family would like to give special thanks to Pastor Don and Mary Jane Brasco, the staff of Gloucester Manor, the VITAS Hospice staff, and the many relatives and friends who showed their love and care.
