Obituary of Louisa Kandle

Louisa Kandle, 101 years, passed away July 5 2007 at Pitman Manor where she had been a resident since 1983.
Miss Kandle was born in Washington Township and raised there and in Pitman. She graduated from Glassboro High School in 1924 and Glassboro Normal School in 1926, later receiving her Bachelor's Degree from Glassboro State College.
She was an elementary school teacher for forty-five years, forty-three at the Blenheim School during which time she resided in Blackwood, NJ. She was a member of the Pitman United Methodist Church.
Miss Kandle is survived by two nieces, Margaret Framer of Pitman and Barbara Walmsley of Souderton, PA, and a nephew Robert Senor of Williamstown.
Services will be private with interment at Bethel Cemetery, Hurffville, NJ. Those who wish may make contributions to the rebuilding fund of the Pitman United Methodist Church, PO Box 7, Pitman, NJ 08071.
