MaryAnn Smith (nee Forte), age 69 died suddenly on July 29, 2007. Born in Allentown, PA she lived most of her life in Glassboro and was a graduate of Glassboro High School in 1956. She worked over 25 years for the State of NJ in Woodbury as the Gloucester County Judiciary Manager retiring in 2004. During her career, she was a member of the Communication Workers of America and served as Shop Stewart and Vice President. She currently was President for the State of NJ Retired CWA Local #1085 Members.
She was the wife of the late Joe C. Smith. Survived by children William (Dana) Bruno of Mantua, Robert (Sandy) Bruno of Woolwich Twp., Jake (Nicole) Bruno of Franklinville, Jodi (Joe) Doman of S. Harrison Twp., stepdaughter Carla Smith of Cedarville, brother Frank Forte of Cantonment, FL and 12 grandchildren.
Friends may call on Friday after 9:00am in the KELLEY FUNERAL HOME, 125 Pitman Ave, Pitman, NJ. Funeral service will be at 11am.
