Obituary of Lisa W. Cunningham

Lisa W. Cunningham, (nee Wilson) age 49, of Pitman died on December 29, 2007 at home, surrounded by her family after a long illness. Lisa is survived by her loving husband of 27 years, Michael; her three children, Sean, Heather, and Scott; brother, Robert Wilson of Jamestown, NC; and mother in law, May Cunningham, of Pitman. Lisa was a lifelong resident of Pitman, a proud homemaker, mother, and wife. She received a BA degree in biology from Hood College (Frederick, MD) and her Bachelors of Science in Nursing degree from Thomas Jefferson University in Philadelphia, PA. Prior to becoming a stay-at-home mom, Lisa worked as a registered nurse in the kidney unit at Thomas Jefferson University Hospital. Lisa loved her children. She was a softball coach, soccer booster parent, and devoted fan of her childrens activities. She will be remembered most of all for her dedication to her family. She was also an avid cook, dog lover, reader, and health enthusiast. Friends may call on Wednesday, Jan. 2, from 6:30 9:00 PM in the KELLEY FUNERAL HOME, 125 Pitman Ave., Pitman, NJ. Funeral services at 11 AM on Thursday, Jan. 3 in St. James Lutheran Church, 400 Columbia Ave., Pitman, NJ 08071. Interment Hillcrest Memorial Park.
