Obituary of Anna Hammond Dornfeld

Anna H. (Hammond) Dornfeld, age 86 of Poland, OH formerly of Pitman, NJ died on December 18, 2007. Anna was born January 20, 1921 in New Jersey the daughter of Jacob and Anna Garrison Hunt. She was a graduate of Glassboro High School and had worked as a teller at the former Fidelity Bank in Pitman for over 25 years before retiring in 1986. She had been a member of the Pitman United Methodist Church and the Pitman order of the Easter Star Chapter #57 where she was past Worthy Matron. She was an accomplished artist and seamstress as well as a talented cake decorator. She is survived by two sons Dr. Lonnie Hammond and his wife Dr. Cathy Hammond of Poland, OH, Ed Hammond of Waretown, NJ, two grandchildren Jake and his wife Gretchen Hammond of Columbus, OH, Seth Hammond of Poland, OH and two great grandchildren Maya and Kyla Hammond. Predeceased in death by husbands Edwin M. Hammond and Albert C. Dornfeld, brother Russell Hunt, sister Virginia Pitts and two grandchildren Jesse and Eva Hammond. Graveside funeral services and Eastern Star services will be 11am Saturday in Hillcrest Memorial Park, 550 Delsea Dr., Washington Twp, NJ.
