Nellie Mae Kuhl (nee Kriner) of Pitman, NJ, died peacefully at home on March 31, 2008. She was 96.
One of seven children born in Lemasters, PA to the late Rebecca Board and William Henry (Harry) Kriner, Nellie was later raised in Chambersburg, PA. She moved to Pitman in 1942.
Strong, independent, and devoted to her family, friends, and faith, Nellie was a member of Eastern Star and regularly attended services at the Pitman United Methodist Church.
Beloved wife of the late Lester R. Kuhl, founder and owner of Pitman Cabinet Company, Nellie is survived by: her son Lester (Gene) and daughter-in-law Maryann; daughter Nancy and son-in-law David Dresh; as well as four grandchildren, four great-grandchildren, and numerous nieces and nephews.
Services will be held at Kelleys Funeral Home in Pitman, NJ, on Friday, April 4. Viewing will begin at 1pm, with a special memorial service conducted by Eastern Star at 1:45pm. The funeral service will begin at 2pm, directly following the Eastern Star memorial. Interment Eglington Cemetery.
Memorial donations can be made to the American Cancer Society, or the Juvenile Diabetes Association (JDF) in Nellies name.
