John P. (Jack) Kostiuk, age 62, died suddenly May 10, 2008 at his home. He was born in Leige, Belguim, and has lived in Pitman since 1977. He was a graduate of Bloomfield High School in 1964, and the Air Force Academy in 1968. He served in the US Air Force from 1964 to 1972 and was in the Vietnam War as a Pilot. He was employed as a commercial Pilot and Flight Instructor for British Aero Space Corp. in Washington, DC for over 15 years. He loved to fly. Husband of the late Cheryl S. (nee Hubbard). Survived by son Jack P. (Allison) of Pitman, daughters Jennifer (Andy) Fox of Glassboro, Barbara (Michael) Miller of Pine Hill, grandchildren McKenna and Ethan Fox, Jonathan, Porter, and Riley Kostiuk, mother Betty Kostiuk of Mt. Pocono, PA, brother Roger of CA, sisters Danielle Casamento of Landing, NJ, and Kathleen Slater of Bloomfield, NJ. Friends may call from 7-9 PM Monday in the KELLEY FUNERAL HOME, 125 Pitman Ave., Pitman, NJ. Memorial Services Tuesday at 11AM in the Pitman United Methodist Church, 758 N. Broadway, Pitman, NJ.
