Russell Joseph Carmolingo, age 68, of Glassboro, NJ died suddenly on May 22, 2008. Russ will be remembered as a loving husband, father and grandfather and a friend to all who knew him. Russ retired in 2005 after 33 years of service with South Jersey Industries. During those years he also served on the Board of Education for the Glassboro School District and the Glassboro Planning and Zoning Boards, which exemplified the love that he had for his community. He was also a member of the Knights of Columbus and Saint Anthony's Society. Russ loved sports of all kinds but he really loved football and baseball. He spent many years as a youth baseball coach in Glassboro. Most of all, Russ was a devoted family man, truly a gentleman and will be very sadly missed by all who loved him. He was the beloved husband of Judith Judy Carmolingo (nee Evans) for 49 years. Devoted father of Michael (Kathy) Carmolingo, Nicholas Carmolingo, Patricia (Jim) Paulsen and Chris (Nicolle) Carmolingo. Loving Pop of Russell, Michael, Christian and Kathleen Carmolingo, Alli and Christina Paulsen and Tyler and Mason Carmolingo. He was the son of the late Pasquale Carmolingo and also survived by his mother Sarah Carmolingo, brother Michael (Eloise) Carmolingo, Carmela (Pasquale) DiRienzo, Maria (Frederick) Riegel. Friends may call on Tuesday 6-9pm and Wednesday 10-10:45am in St. Bridget's Church, Church St, Glassboro. Funeral mass will be Wednesday at 11am. Interment St. Bridget's Cemetery.
