Dear David and Diane. Please know how sorry I am for your loss. Byrnina was, and will continue to be, an inspiration to me in my own teaching.....as well as life itself. Her zest for life was infectious, and she was always so proud of her children and music students. As busy as she was teaching and performing through the years, she always took the time to acknowledge birthdays, anniversaries, and the many celebratory moments of her family, friends and students. She was humble, and with all her many successes, never forgot her mid western roots. She will continue to live on in the many lives' she has touched over the years. Fondly, Kathy

Bernyna was an inspiration for all of us beginning string teachers. With the talent and knowledge that she had for strings and the rest of the orchestra, and with her wonderful personality, one could only be in awe of this beautiful and always well dressed lady.
She was always willing to share knowledge and music to all who asked for it. (She was also very generous in sharing her chocolate candy recipes )
May you rest in a well deserved peace.
You will be remembered.

Dear David and Diane,
We were so very sorry to hear of your great loss. I met Byrnina in 1968 in the Haddonfield Symphony and we became good friends. I have happy memories of many, many luncheons we enjoyed together at the Beau Rivage Restaurant, her favorite place, where she introduced me to her favorite French wines. We will always remember her.

So sorry for your loss. Mrs. Soc will always have a special place in my heart, especially those car rides to SJPO rehearsals and quartet rehearsals in the basement! I think of her every time I drive by Silver Ave.

Our prayers are with the Socolofsky family. Our son, Carl took violin from Mrs Soc from 2000-2009. She was a wonderful teacher, seeing the potential and pushing her students to do their best. He received a BS of Music in Sound Engineering Arts. He couldn't have done this without his violin training and audition because of her help. He has also taught a few students because of her wonderful teaching. Carl is just one of so many students she has inspired and encouraged during her many years of teaching. Her music lives on in all her students.
