Obituary of Joan A. Rubin

Joan Anna (nee Konzik) Rubin passed away on January 13, 2016 at Roosevelt Care Center in Old Bridge, NJ after a lengthy struggle with Multiple Sclerosis. She was born on February 7, 1945 to John Konzik and Anna (nee Ferretti) Konzik. Joan was an accomplished hairdresser. In 1977 she married her beloved husband Jacob Rubin, they shared 35 happy years together in their home in Sewell, NJ. Together Jack and Joan owned and operated Jack R's Fireside Restaurant in Pitman, NJ for over 25 years. Joan was a member of Order of the Eastern Star chapter 57, Pitman, NJ Joan was preceded in death by her husband Jacob Rubin, and sister Edna Patton and she is survived by her sisters, Rita Pollock, Linda Harrington, her brother John Konzik and many nieces and nephews. Friends may greet the family on Wednesday 9:30-10:30 in the Kelley Funeral home, 125 Pitman Ave, Pitman, NJ.
