Obituary of Shirley A. Essner

Shirley A. Essner (nee Armstrong), age 79 years of Turnersville, NJ, died July 12 at Cooper University Hospital. Born in Moorestown, NJ, she had lived in Pitman for over 20 years, formerly of Washington Twp., and Turnersville for the last 13 years. She had been employed as a bookkeeper for St. Joseph's Church in Philadelphia for over 10 years. Shirley enjoyed going to the casinos and was an avid Eagles fan. Predeceased by her daughter Darcy Essner. She is survived by her husband of 59 years, Ronald, sons Dennis (Mimi), Kevin (Barbara), Lee, and Troy (Nancy), grandchildren Corrine, Gavyn, and Seth, and great grandchildren Zachary, Noah, and Morgan. Friends may call at the KELLEY FUNERAL HOME, 125 Pitman Ave., Pitman, NJ on Wednesday from 7-9PM and Thursday from 9:30-10:30AM.
