Obituary of Colleen M. DeSantis

Colleen Marie DeSantis, 62, of Southampton, NJ died Monday, October 16, 2017 at United Methodist Communities at Pitman, NJ, after a courageous battle with cancer. She was born September 20, 1955 in Camden, NJ the daughter of Helen Patton and the late Joseph Patton. Colleen was employed as a secretary at a catholic church for many years and then a sales clerk at Whole Foods before she retired due to her illness. In her spare time, she enjoyed crafts, reading and gardening. Colleen was an incredible person and loved spending time with friends, family and children. She is survived by her two children Damian DeSantis of Port St. Lucie, FL, Noelle Lepper of Babylon, NY, three grandchildren Michael DeSantis, Bayden Lepper and Brianna Lepper, her mother Helen Patton of Bowling Green, Kentucky, a brother Kevin Patton of Idaho Falls, Idaho, and three sisters Lindsey Bernat of Medford, NJ, Kimberly Miller of Patchogue, NY and Jennifer Pond of Bowling Green, Kentucky. Colleen also leaves behind three brother in laws and two sister in laws, nieces and nephews as well as numerous aunts, uncles, cousins and friends. She was preceded in death by her beloved father Joseph Patton and beloved brother Ross Patton. Friends may greet the family on Saturday after 11am. Memorial service will be 12pm in the Kelley Funeral Home, 125 Pitman Ave, Pitman with Deacon Stanley Orkis officiating. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the American Cancer Society at donate.cancer.org/.
