Obituary of John C. Russell

John C. Russell, age 89 died on August 16, 2013. John was a graduate of Woodstown High School in 1941 and lived in Ewan, NJ most of his life. He served in the US Army during World War II from 1943-1945 in Burma. He worked for Atlantic City Electric and retired in 1991. He was a founding member of the Ewan Fire Company and served from 1947-1985 and a member of the Ewan United Methodist Church. He was the husband of the late Beatrice (nee Bell). Survived by his children Patricia Christiansen, Mark (Jerry), Janet Kaplan, brothers William, Robert and Kenneth Russell, 5 grandchildren and 3 great grandchildren. Friends may greet the family at 10:30am on Tuesday in Gloucester County Veteran's Cemetery Pavilion, Tuckahoe Rd, Monroe Twp.
