Obituary of Meta Rosebery

META (KOESER) ROSEBERY Meta K. Rosebery, 79, of Sewell, NJ, and Punta Gorda, FL, passed away on September 17th, 2013. Meta was born in Atlantic City and grew up in Absecon Highlands and Seaview, NJ. She graduated from Pleasantville High School in 1952. After high school, she was employed by Atlantic City Electric and New Jersey Bell Telephone. In June of 1957 she married her husband, John S. Rosebery Jr, of Pleasantville, and shortly thereafter they moved to Somerspoint, NJ. Much of her adult life was devoted to being a homemaker and raising her four children. She was also the sole proprietor of a card and gift shop for many years. She enjoyed traveling with John and the family, bowling, and spending time curled up with a good book. During her retirement years, she was able to enjoy winters in Florida, and spending time with the Red Hat Ladies and all her friends in the Punta Gorda Area. Meta is preceded in death by her parents, Herman and Margaret Koeser of Absecon, NJ. Meta was predeceased by her spouse of 55 years John; and is survived by her sister Irma Koeser of Galloway, NJ, brother Herman Koser of Cardiff, NJ, four children; Mike of Pitman, NJ, Susan Camlin of Simpsonville, SC, Mark of Medford, NJ, and Lynne of Sewell, NJ; grandchildren Ryan, Jared, and Lauren Camlin, and Jonathan and Amanda Rosebery; and a great-grandchild, Bryce Camlin. A memorial service will be held at the Kelley Funeral Home, 125 Pitman Avenue, Pitman, NJ at 8:00 pm on September 30th, 2013. The family will be meeting friends and relatives at the Funeral Home from 6:00 to 8:00 pm. Internment will be private at the convenience of the family.
