Obituary of James Joseph Fiebig

James Joseph Fiebig, age 78 died on November 21, 2013 at his home in Pitman where he lived since 1961. James was raised in Shamokin, PA. He was a 1953 graduate of Shamokin High School where he was a champion wrestler and an All State Clarinet member of the band. He received his Bachelor's degree from Bloomsburg in 1957 and Master's degree from Glassboro State College in 1969. He served in the US Army from 1957-1959. James began his career in education at Woodbury High School in 1961. In 1962 he was hired to be the Business Teacher at Delsea Regional High School. James had many positions at Delsea throughout his career such as Guidance Counselor, Vice Principal, Principal, Business Administrator, retiring as Superintendent in 1997. James also started the first wrestling program at Delsea Regional. He is survived by his wife of 56 years Nancy Louise (nee Brown), children David (Cynthia), Timothy (Nancy), JamieLin (Jay) Stillman, grandchildren Kristen, Olivia and Micaela, and sister Joan Sheehan. Friends may greet the family on Sunday after 2pm in the Kelley Funeral Home, 125 Pitman Ave, Pitman, NJ. Funeral service will be at 4pm. Interment will be Monday at 12noon in Odd Fellows Cemetery, Treverton Rd, Shamokin, PA.
