Obituary of Olive Gatewood Wood

Olive Gatewood Wood (nee Johnson), age 95 died on December 3, 2013 at her home in West Deptford. Born and raised in Aura, NJ she was a graduate of Glassboro High School in 1935. Gatewood raised her family in Sewell until she retired from Pitman National Bank and Trust Co. and moved to Hobe Sound, FL. She later returned to New Jersey to be with her family. She was a faithful member of the Evangelical United Methodist Church and the Sunday School Joy Class. She was predeceased by her husband Samuel Ogden Wood. She was the beloved mother to Barbara Sager and Kathleen (Ron) Rowe, grandmother to Scott and Brian (Nattharinee) Rowe, Michelle (Mike) Turin, Heather Rowe-Martin and great grandmother to Joshua, Amanda, Kevin, Kathleen, Brianna, Emily, Samantha, Michael, Audry, Juthamanee, Zane and WanChai. Friends may greet the family on Monday 9-11am in the Kelley Funeral Home, 125 Pitman Ave, Pitman, NJ. Funeral service will be at 11am. Interment Richwood Cemetery.
