Obituary of Warren H. Johns

Warren H. Johns, age 93 died on January 3, 2014. Born and raised in Swedesboro, he was a graduate of Swedesboro High School in 1938. Warren has lived in Glassboro for the past 49 years. He served from 1940-1945 as a Pilot in the US Navy during World War II. He worked over 33 years for Owens Illinois in Glassboro, retiring as Technical Service Representative. He was a member and past president of the GBBA Union. He is survived by his wife of 37 years Barbara (nee Murray), step children Cheryl (the late Gregory) Bruynell, Gary (the late Elizabeth) Mackay, brother Lester (Midge) , 14 grandchildren and many great grandchildren. He was predeceased by his daughter Yvonne Wertz, son Robert and 9 siblings. Friends may greet the family on Tuesday after 9:30am in the Kelley Funeral Home, 125 Pitman Ave, Pitman, NJ.
