Gwendolyn S. Russell (nee Shropshire), age 93 died on January 25, 2014. She lived in Pitman since 1968. Gwendolyn was a secretary for Pepper Hamilton and Scheetz Law Firm, Philadelphia, Presbyterian Church of Philadelphia and she retired as secretary from Univ. of Penn Press. She was a member of the First Presbyterian Church in Pitman, the Pitman Woman's Club and the Mickleton Garden Club. Gwendolyn also enjoyed playing bridge, gardening and reading.
She was the wife of the late John and survived by many nieces and nephews.
Memorial service will be on Thursday February 6, at 11AM in the Kelley Funeral Home, 125 Pitman Ave, Pitman, NJ. Where friends may call after 10:30AM. Interment Eglington Cemetery.
