Max E Hibbard II, 69, of Gibbstown, passed away on February 23rd, 2014 after a courageous fight. Max was born in Monroe, MI to Dr. Max E and Dorothy (ne Lane). He was a 1964 graduate of Woodbury High School and a 1972 graduate of Atlantic Community College. Max was a member of the US Army till 1968 and later retired as a Registered Respiratory Therapist after 42 years of providing care. He formerly lived in Paulsboro, NJ, Ottumwa, IA and Omaha, NE before returning back to South Jersey. Max is survived by his beloved wife Virginia A. (ne Doakley); loving father of daughters Virginia D. and her husband Matthew, Nancy Yvonne and Susanna Kangas. He is survived by his brothers Jan (Cynthia), Jon (Barbara) and Erich . Nieces and nephews Kristen, Amy, Christian, Erich, Jeffrey, Christa and Gail and Neil Doakley.
