Obituary of Jacqueline M. DiPatre

Please share a memory of Jacqueline to include in a keepsake book for family and friends.
Jacqueline M. (Jackie) DiPatre (nee Finnegan) age 88, went home to our Lord on March 28, 2014. Born in Philadelphia, she lived for many years in Runnemede and Bellmawr before staying with her daughter Patti in Pitman. She was an Intake Caseworker for the Camden County Welfare Board. She also worked in the legal, mortgage and real estate fields. Beloved daughter of the late Margaret and Charles Finnegan and sister of James and Charles (deceased). Beloved mother of Patti (Joseph) MacIntosh of Pitman, NJ, and Susan (Larry) Reilly of Woodbury, NJ, grandmother of Danielle (Eric) Silverman, Michael (Kristen) MacIntosh, great grandmother of Kathleen MacIntosh and Elizabeth Silverman, and 3 step-children. Jackie was very involved with Mary Mother of the Church (St. Rita's), and a member of the Archway Senior Group. She loved letter writing, getting and giving cards, flower arranging, yard sales and "going for a ride". Jackie defined the term "independent woman". She was a single mom when that was a rarity. She doted on her children, putting their needs first.always. She loved her church, especially her time at Little Flower and Mary Mother of the Church. "Jackie D" didn't teach kindness, honesty and self-respect. She lived it. Her sense of humor and fun was priceless. Friends may call on Wednesday from 9 to 10:30 AM in the KELLEY FUNERAL HOME, 125 Pitman Ave, Pitman, NJ. Funeral mass at 11AM in Mary Mother of Mercy Parish (Our Lady Queen of Peace Church), Pitman, NJ. Interment St. Joseph's Cemetery, Blackwood, NJ. Those wishing may make contributions to Archway Foundation, Inc., Attn: Archway Seniors Group, 280 Jackson Rd., P.O.
