Obituary of Kenneth C. Schantz

Kenneth C. Schantz, age 81 years of Glassboro, died March 31. Born in Camden, NJ, he lived most of his life in Pitman and Glassboro. Ken served in the U.S. Army during the Korean War. He was employed by J&K Market from 1956 to the early 1990's, and also worked at the Dellwood Roller Rink. He enjoyed mowing lawns and gardening. Predeceased by his wife Betty (nee Cook). Survived by his daughters Linda Engblom and Melody Schantz (Stephen Harasta), grandchildren Victoria Schantz and Steven Engblom Jr. Also survived by his sisters Jeanne (Russell) Peoples and Phyllis Reid, many nieces and nephews, and his best friend Chauncey. Friends may call on Wednesday from 7 to 9 PM in the KELLEY FUNERAL HOME, 125 Pitman Ave, Pitman, NJ, and on Thursday from 10 to 11AM. Funeral service at 11AM. Interment Hillcrest Memorial Park.
