Obituary of Michael Joseph Hannum

Michael J. Hannum, of Pitman, NJ, died June 3, 2023, at his home surrounded by his family. Born in Philadelphia, Michael lived in Pitman all of his life. He was a veteran serving in the US Navy. He was the owner of Campbell's Auto Express Co., Pitman, NJ. Michael served on Council as well as being Mayor of Pitman. He was predeceased by his parents Helen and Louis Hannum, Sr. and his sister Cheryl Gallagher. He is survived by his wife of 59 years, Irma M. (nee MacGowan), 3 daughters, Monica (Lee W.) Dresh, Veronica Manfredo, Michelle (Kyle) Castagna, 11 grandchildren Victoria Dresh, Brooke (Barry) Gallagher, Lee B. (Ashley) Dresh, Shelby Dresh, Canyon, Julian Manfredo, William (Kari), Jordan, Priscila, Darien, Mason Messenger, and Reese Moore, 2 great grandchildren Will and Elena Messenger, brothers Louis (Jean), Jr., and Mark Hannum, and brother-in-law James Gallagher. Friends may call from 6 to 8PM Thursday and 9 to 11AM Friday in the KELLEY FUNERAL HOME, 125 Pitman Ave., Pitman, NJ. Funeral services 11AM Friday. Interment Hillcrest Memorial Park.
