Obituary of James Bernard Taylor

James Bernard Taylor, aged 61, of Columbia, MD, passed away on April 7, 2014, after a long battle with prostate cancer. He was born in Woodbury, NJ on March 15, 1953 to June and Bernie Taylor of Pitman. He graduated from Pitman High School in 1971. He spent most of his career working in the security and alarms industry. He was a great outdoorsman and avid fisherman. He is survived by his son, James Adam Taylor, his stepdaughter, Kirsten Cooper, his wife Joan, his mother June Taylor, his sisters Mary Lawson, Bernice "Tootie" Taylor and Chris Taylor as well as his "brothers" and lifelong friends, Jeff Allen and Mike Lombardi. Memorial service will be at 1:00pm on Saturday, April 12, in the Kelley Funeral Home, 125 Pitman Ave, Pitman, NJ 08071.In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to a local chapter of the YMCA Adventure Guides.
