Obituary of Constance M. Mazzola

Constance M. Mazzola (Moncrief), age 88, passed away peacefully on August 17, 2023, at home surrounded by loved ones. Connie was a 1952 graduate of Penns Grove High School and received her bachelor's degree in education from Glassboro State Teachers College in 1956. She met her beloved husband, Tom, while attending college. They married in 1956 and settled in Pitman, where she resided with her family for 67 years. Connie started her career in the classroom as an elementary and physical education teacher, and later loved working as a floral designer at Triple Oaks Nursery. Throughout her lifetime, Connie was an avid bowler. Most of all, she loved working in her garden and spending time with her family. She is survived by her sons Jeff (Dawn), Chris (Kathryn), Adam (Jenny), grandchildren Eric (Lauren), Alex (Lisa), Logan, Aidan, Grace, Connor, Megan, and Becca, great grandson Atlas, sister Helen Foster and nieces Sean (Brian) Woodward-Hills, Kelly Powell, Erin Hills (Adam Fink) and Astra Ribail (Garrett). Friends may greet the family on Tuesday 6-8pm and on Wednesday 10-10:30am at the Kelley Funeral Home, 125 Pitman Ave, Pitman, NJ with Words of Remembrance at 10:30am. Funeral mass 11am at Our Lady Queen of Peace Church, Pitman Ave, Pitman. Interment immediately following at Hillcrest Memorial Park.
