Obituary of June Ellen Kensil

June Ellen Kensil (nee Rule), age 78, passed away peacefully on September 18, 2023 at her Pitman home surrounded by her family. June was raised in Glassboro and lived in Pitman for 50 years. She was a Rowan employee for 25 years and retired in 2014. June was a lifelong member of St. Thomas' Episcopal Church in Glassboro. She was a loving wife, mother, and grandmother. She played an active role in her family's lives, volunteering whenever she could for their various activities. Survived by her husband of 50 years, Stacy F. Kensil IV, children; Shannon (Paul) Vallaster, Stacy F. (Koren) Kensil V, granddaughters; Alexa Vallaster and Olivia Kensil. Also survived by siblings Donald (Marcie) Rule, Maryann (Malloy) Askin, Charlene (Walter) Bullen. She was predeceased by her parents, Charlotte Vandergrift and Rupert Rule, Sr.; siblings Rupert Rule Jr. and Jeannie Pollack. Friends may greet the family, Saturday, September 23, 2023 after 9:30 a.m. in the Kelley Funeral Home, 125 Pitman Avenue, Pitman, NJ. The funeral service will be at 11:00 a.m. Interment at Manahath Cemetery immediately following the service. In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to St. Thomas' Episcopal Church, 212 N.
