Obituary of Susan M. Frambes

Susan Ann Frambes (née Murcavage), age 86, passed away on December 25, 2023. She was born on December 15, 1937 to John Victor Murcavage and Susan Murcavage (née Baloga) in Wilkes-Barre, PA. She was raised in Pitman, NJ and graduated from Pitman High School in 1956. Susan then attended Goldey-Beacom College in DE, where she received her Associates degree. The following spring, she married her high school sweetheart, William Arizona Frambes - a marriage that lasted 63 years until his passing in 2021. Susan worked for many years as a medical secretary for Dr. Roger Lovelace and Dr. Robert Baker in Pitman. Though she held numerous other positions in the clerical field, she retired from Rowan University at the age of 75, having worked for the library administrator for 10 years. However, the titles she cherished most were wife, Mom, and Mom Mom. She was predeceased by her husband, William, and siblings John, David, Paul, and Joan Elliott (née Murcavage). She is survived by her brother Leon (Sandi); children Mark (Luanne), Willis (Patricia), Brenda (Mark) Frambes, and Diana (Michael Jr.) Dresh; grandchildren Justin and Bryan (Lauren) Frambes, and Sarah and Lauren Dresh; step-grandchildren Kristyn (Shawn) Wentz, Jeff (Christina) Cummings, and Brandon (Jenn), Anthony, Geena McLean; great-grandson Hudson Frambes; step-great grandchildren Cole, Reese, Lane, Claire Wentz, Alaina and Luke Cummings, and Harper and Jacqueline McLean. Funeral service and interment in Eglington Cemetery will be private at the convenience of the family.
