Janice H. Perez (Holtzhauser), age 84, died on January 26, 2024 at her home in Glassboro. Raised in Thorofare, Janice graduated from Paulsboro High School in 1957 and attended Goldy-Beacom College for secretarial studies. Janice married her husband, Luis Perez, in 1959 and they moved to Glassboro in 1961 where they raised their family. She began a career as a secretary at Mobile Oil in Paulsboro, later working for Rowan University as the Head Secretary in the Music Department. Janice enjoyed crocheting, knitting, spending time with family and loved to travel.
She was predeceased by her husband, Luis Perez, infant son, Richard Perez, and brother, Edward Holtzhauser. Survived by her children, Carmen P. (Mark) Lescure, Alice Connelly, José L. (Diana) Perez, grandchildren Michelle (Nick) Fink, Caitlin Lescure, Cody, Reilley and Gregory Connelly, Sarah Perez, Claudia (Christian) Petty, great-grandchildren Wyatt and Boone and sister-in-law Judy Holtzhauser.
