Obituary of Margaret V. Lee

Margaret V. Lee (nee Vain) passed away peacefully on February 22, 2024 at Advanced Subacute Rehabilitation Center in Sewell, NJ, at the age of 87. She was born in Philadelphia, PA, and was a long-time resident of Glassboro, NJ, prior to moving to All American Assisted living in Sewell, NJ. Margaret (Margie) was a graduate of the University of Pennsylvania where she received a degree in Nursing. She was the Director of Nursing at Pinecrest Sewell, NJ, and Director of Nursing/Administrator at Greenbriar Nursing Home in Woodbury, NJ, and their satellite locations. She worked in Nursing at Kennedy Healthcare Center in Washington Township and finally retired at the age of 70. Margie enjoyed traveling and visiting family over the years. She enjoyed history and was an avid reader with thousands of books in her personal library. Margaret is survived by her brothers William Vain (Marina) and John Vain (Cindy), along with a niece (Sara Vain) and nephews (William, Christopher, John and Jason Vain). She was predeceased by her parents William and Anna Vain, husband Robert E. Lee and nephew Jonathan Vain. Margie's family would like to thank the friends who shared in her life, personal or work related. The medical team who cared for her every need and the devout caregivers who made Margie comfortable every day. Margie had a special team who were by her side and she loved you for it. A graveside service will be held at Eglington Cemetery and Memorial Gardens in Clarksboro, NJ on Saturday, March 9 at 11:00 A.M. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to an organization of your choice in Margaret's name.
