Obituary of Angel Mario Romero Jr.

Angel Mario Romero, Jr. age 57 years, of Monroeville, NJ died suddenly on March 25 at Inspira Medical Center, Mannington, NJ. Born in Vineland, NJ, He had lived in the Monroeville area most of his life. He was employed by Vulcan Materials as a Heavy Equipment Operator. Angel was a life member of Monroeville Fire Station #17 where he had served as a captain and was an exempt member of the New Jersey State Firemen's Association. He was also a member of the Puerto Rican Club of Vineland and a volunteer at the Food Pantry for his church, Victory Assembly of God. He was a former Boy Scout leader and a former member of the GCCC Drama Team. Angel was a beloved member of his community. He always lent a hand and was willing to serve his fellow man in whatever capacity was required. He never complained and always used his smile to brighten the day of those around him. He treated his two stepsons as if they were his own and was a wonderful grandfather to his grandchildren. The world was a better place with Angel Romero in it. He will be sorely missed. He is survived by his wife of 34 years, Linda Pino Romero (nee) DelVecchio, his sons Carmen (Alisha) Pino and Salvatore (Jenifer) Pino, and his grandchildren; Nicholas (Jackalyn), Salvatore III, Daniel, Charles, Abigail, and Gabriel. He is also survived by his father, Angelo, his mother, Daisy Collazo, his brothers Richard, Ryan, Mario, and Tony, and his sister, Jade Romero. Friends may call on Saturday from 9 to 11AM in the KELLEY FUNERAL HOME, 125 Pitman Ave, Pitman, NJ. Funeral service at 11AM. Interment Eglington Cemetery.
