Obituary of Clarence N. Kane

Clarence Norman Kane, 97, of Pitman, NJ passed away on March 28, 2024. Clarence was a loving husband and father and always supportive of his sons. Survived by three sons, Clarence Jr., Craig (Boni), and Mike (Shannon Harbison), and by grandchildren Felicia Lahn (Justin), Spencer, Carson McGee (Carson), Alexa and Taryn and great grandson Kane Lahn. Clarence was predeceased by his beloved wife of 71 years Beryl and son Frank Kane. Clarence was born in Franklinville, NJ on August 2, 1926 to Bernard Joseph and Sarah Elizabeth Kane. Drafted before finishing high school he entered the US Army serving in the Pacific during WWII. After being discharged and attending The Radio Electronics Institute in Philadelphia on the GI Bill he held various jobs until settling at RCA. After retirement from RCA, Clarence worked at K-Tron. Once fully retired, ENAK Services his at home business focused primarily on repairing ribbon microphones, was his passion. Clarence's experience and quality workmanship with ribbon mics, he could make old mics like new, brought him worldwide notoriety and contact with a number of recording celebrities. He served as Quartermaster for Anthony P Growchowski Post 2071, Franklinville for 50 years and either managed, coached or umpired Pitman Little League for at least 20 years. Friends may call on Friday, April 5 from 10 to 11 AM in the Kelley Funeral Home, 125 Pitman Avenue, Pitman, NJ. Funeral services at 11 AM.
