Obituary of Alan Corbett Foster

Alan Corbett Foster, age 71, died on March 31, 2024. Raised in Pitman, Alan graduated from Pitman High School in 1971. He earned his Bachelor's degree from Juniata College in 1975 and Masters degree from Drexel University. Alan worked after graduation for Drexel University in Human Resources. Shortly after that he also graduated from The Restaurant School in Philadelphia and moved to Ocean City, New Jersey to open a small cafe named Say Cheese.. He loved boating and obtained his USCG approved Captains license, as well as became a outboard engine mechanic. Later in life, Alan moved to Crystal River Florida, and during that time worked in graphic art design . He also volunteered in Ad litem and Hospice work. He moved back to Gloucester County four years ago. Alan was an avid boater, skier and always had a smile on his face. Predeceased by his sons Daniel, Ian and Alec. Survived by his daughter Jillian Foster (Brian Burton), brother David Foster (Genie), sister Leslee Means. Celebration of life will be held at a later date.
