Obituary of Joan Marie Hickman

Joan Marie Hickman, nee Rogers, age 70 years, died April 17 at Inspira Hospital, Vineland, NJ. Born in Millville, she graduated from Millville High School in 1971 and lived there until she moved to Blackwood in 1999. She was a nurse and employed by Inspira Hospital in Vineland and Bridgeton Hospital. Joan was a member of the Chews United Methodist Church and was the videographer for Sunday services. She enjoyed owning and riding horses, gardening, travelling and cooking and was known as a loving, caring person. Predeceased by her husband, Frederick C. Hickman, Jr and her parents Calvin and Sarah Rogers. Survived by her sisters, Brenda (Willis) Brewer and Carol DeMaria, many nieces and nephews, and her beloved fur baby "Twinkles". Friends may call on Wednesday, April 24 from 9:30 to 11:00AM in the KELLEY FUNERAL HOME, 125 Pitman Ave, Pitman, NJ. Funeral service at 11AM. Interment Hillcrest Memorial Park.
