Obituary of Margaret Alma Morgan

Margaret "Peg" Morgan (nee Hickman), age 91 died on June 1, 2014. Born and raised in Pitman, she lived in Sewell for 64 years. She attended Pitman High School. Peg worked for Owens Illinois, Glassboro for 2 years prior to starting her family. Peg worked for the election polls for Mantua Twp. She was an active member of the Pitman United Methodist Church. Peg served on the 1963 Clearview Prom Committee, the PTA of Sewell School, the teenage Bowling League, Woodbury Lanes Bowling League and was active in the Sewell Boys Club. She also volunteered for Meals on Wheels. Peg enjoyed going to yard sales with Aunt Doris, gardening and needle work. She was the wife of the late Robert C. Morgan. She is survived by her children James (Kay), Margy Dipper, David (Linda), her niece and goddaughter Penny Smith, brothers Charles and Kenneth Hickman, 7 grandchildren, 12 great grandchildren and many nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by her sister Jeanne A. Smith and brother James. Graveside service will be Saturday at 11am in Woodbury Memorial Park, Kings Hwy.
