Obituary of Jeanie S. deJong

Jeanie S. deJong, age 86 years, died Monday, September 1, with her loving family by her side. Born in Philadelphia, PA, she has lived in Glassboro since 1957. She was a graduate of Philadelphia Girls High School, and was a member of the Keenagers. She was a very loving, caring, generous woman, and a great friend to all who knew her. Predeceased by her husband Loren S. deJong. She is survived by children Lorna J. (Jeff) Grant, Mark S. (Lynne) deJong, Gaile L. (Jeff) Thies, and Shawna L. (Joe) deJong, 7 grandchildren; Tara Morrison, Sean Grant, Robert Grant, Alexander deJong, Matthew deJong, Lindsay Thies, and Jeffrey Thies, and 2 great grandchildren. Also survived by her sister Doris Langley, dear friends Joan Aveni, and Amy Olsak, and her beloved dog Archie. Friends may call on Saturday from 9 to 11AM in the KELLEY FUNERAL HOME, 125 Pitman Ave., Pitman, NJ. Funeral services 11AM. Interment Manahath Cemetery.
