Obituary of Dorothy Mae Hewitt

Dorothy Mae Hewitt (nee Swartz) age 92 died on October 13, 2014 in Kentucky where she lived for the past five years with her son and daughter. Born in Philadelphia, Dorothy resided in the Pitman area most of her life. She was a graduate of Glassboro High School and received her Bachelor's Degree from the University of Delaware. Dorothy retired from Gloucester County Social Services where she enjoyed her work as a social worker. She was a member of the Pitman Methodist Church and P.E.O. Dorothy was the wife of the late Paul A. She is survived by her children Sue Summe and Mike Hewitt and grandchildren William and Erica Summe. Friends may greet the family after 10am on Saturday, November 1, 2014 in the Kelley Funeral Home, 125 Pitman Ave. Pitman, N.J. Memorial service will be at 11am.
