Obituary of Eleanor B. Littley

Please share a memory of Eleanor to include in a keepsake book for family and friends.
Eleanor B. Littley (nee Baker), of Boynton Beach, Fl., passed away peacefully at her daughter's home in Mullica Hill, NJ on November 20, 2014. Eleanor was predeceased by her husband of 47 years, Kenneth G.Littley. The daughter of Lydia P. and William Baker, Eleanor is survived by two daughters, Kathy Anzuena and Susan Wiren, and two sisters, Shirley B. Rambo and Betty Lou McAllister. She was a favorite aunt to her nieces and nephews. Eleanor adored her four grandchildren, Joseph (Holly) Anzuena, Jennifer Anzuena, Wolfgang Wiren, and Maximillian Wiren, and most recently came to love her first great grandchild, Finn Anzuena. Eleanor graduated from Olney High School in Philadelphia. Always an independent woman, Eleanor worked hard in support of her family and enjoyed a long and successful career at New Jersey Bell, where she began as a switchboard operator and retired a manager. When not at work, she enjoyed cooking, travel, and time spent in Atlantic City. Her family and friends will fondly recall many holiday meals at her home where everything was made from scratch, including pies made from the fruits of her backyard cherry tree. Eleanor relocated to Florida in 1997 and enjoyed companionship with Mr. Edward Ring for nine wonderful and active years. Everyone who knew Mom, Grammy, and Aunt El will always love and miss the woman who shared everything she had with all of us, and who left smiles on our faces and warmth in our hearts. Friends may greet the family Tuesday after 11AM in the KELLEY FUNERAL HOME, 125 Pitman Ave., Pitman, NJ Memorial Services 1PM. Interment Private. In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to Alzheimers Association S.J. Chapter, 11000 Lincoln Drive, Marlton, NJ 08053. Memories may be shared at www.kelleyfhpitman.com.
