Catherine Dora Ebersole (nee Westerfer), age 79 died on October 19, 2012 at the Pitman Manor where she lived for the past four years. Catherine formerly lived in Elk Twp. for over 38 years. Catherine served in the Women's Army Corp from 1955-1957. She was a Registered Nurse for Bayside State Prison. Catherine was a volunteer for the Gloucester County Senior Luncheon. She was an avid reader and loved to travel.
She is survived by her daughter Lori L. Karnuk (Robert Jr.), siblings Donald, Gary, Irvin, Stephen, David, Patricia Byrne, Linda, John, MaryLou and grandchildren Matthew and Sara Karnuk. She was predeceased by brothers William and Norbert and sister Nancy Smith.
Graveside services will be on Saturday at 11:30am in Gloucester County Veteran's Cemetery, Tuckahoe Rd, Williamstown, NJ. In lieu of flowers contributions may be made to the Charcot Marie Tooth Assn, PO Box 105, Glenolden, PA 19036. Memories may be shared at www.kelleyfhpitman.com.
