Obituary of Ronald William Dole

Ronald William Dole, 70 of Pitman, NJ passed away Sunday, November 11, 2012, while visiting Charleston, SC. Ronald, better known as Ron or Uncle Ronnie, was born in Pitman on August 9, 1942. Ron was a life-long resident of Pitman and enjoyed gathering its historical facts. Prior to servicing in the US Army from 1967-1969, one of which was in Korea, he was the owner of Dole Moving and Storage and Dole Appliance Repair. He was a member of the American Legion. Ron was always industrious and seeking to learn. He also enjoyed reading, playing golf, bowling and visiting with family. Ron will forever be remembered by his brothers and sisters-in-law Thomas (Helene) of Pitman, Marjorie of Mantua, Paul (Dee) of Corbin, KY; his sister Marie of Delanco, NJ, nieces and nephews Debbie (Ray) Munoz, Thomas (Jo), Harry Jr., Richard (Jody) , Robin (Joseph Gerlormini), Steven, Kiki Senel, Krystal (James) Dole-Nolan, Jacob, and Kerry Farrell, along with 13 great nieces and nephews, 2 great nieces and the rest of his family and friends. Ronnie was predeceased by his parents Paul and Margaret "Marie", brothers Richard "Dick", Harry and his sister Jacqueline. Friends may greet the family on Saturday after 9:30am in the Kelley Funeral Home, 125 Pitman Ave, Pitman, NJ. Funeral service will be at 11am. Interment Hillcrest Memorial Park.
