Bernard Francis Rosiak, Sr., age 78 years of Pitman, NJ, died June 16 at Kennedy Memorial Hospital in Washington Township, NJ. Born in Wilkes Barre, PA, he moved to Pitman in 1968 when he and his wife purchased the Pitman Bakery. He retired from the daily operation in 2000. He was a veteran of World War II and Korea, serving in the U.S. Army, receiving 3 Bronze Stars and was a member of the American Legion Post.
Survived by his wife of 56 years, Anna (nee Zaruta), children Bernard, Jr., Mary Ann (Thomas) White, Stephen (Cathy), Joan (Dennis) Helms, and Helen (Larry) Dominic, 13 grandchildren Aaron Rosiak, Danielle Rosiak, Jaimee Rappleye, Brittany Rosiak, Philip Dominic, Keven White, Daniel Dominic, Megan Helms, Joshua Rosiak, Heather Rosiak, Patrick Helms, Nathan Dominic, Sydney Rosiak, sisters, Josephine Pyzia, Barbara Marosky, and Bernice Weir, sister in laws Gloria Rosiak and Susan Rosiak.
Family and friends are invited to his viewing on Monday, June 19 from 7 to 9 PM in the KELLEY FUNERAL HOME, 125 Pitman Ave., Pitman, NJ, and on Tuesday from 9:00 to 10:15 AM. Funeral mass at 11 AM at Sts. Peter and Paul Ukrainian Church, S. Black Horse Pike, Williamstown, NJ. Interment Gloucester County Veterans Cemetery.
