James Joseph Nolan, age 75 years of Sewell, NJ died January 13 at his residence. Born in Auburn, NY, he lived in Maple Shade, NJ for 30 years before moving to Sewell in 1970. He was a veteran of the US Navy serving during the Korean conflict. He was employed by E.I. DuPont Chambersworks as a carpenter for 23 years before retiring in 1992. He was an original member of the 25 Club in Maple Shade. For the past 10 years, he traveled to Florida every winter and stayed at the Ocala Forest Campground. He was an avid golfer and Eagles fan, and was known to tell a good joke. Survived by his wife of 43 years Olga (nee Nikitiuk), children David (Elizabeth) of Pitman, James (Allyson) of Deptford and Carol Nolan of Sewell, grandchildren Kevin Smith, Max Nolan, John Thatcher, Olivia Nolan, Anthony Broaddus, and great grandchild Elija Broaddus. Also survived by his brother Robert Nolan, sisters Nancy Bittle, Mary Hirst and Ellen Nolan. There will be a memorial mass at 11AM in St. Peter & Paul's Church, Ganttown Road, Washington twp., NJ, Where friends may call after 10AM. Interment Gloucester Co. Veterans Memorial Cemetery.
