Obituary of Edwin Joseph Kircher

Edwin Joseph Kircher II, age 63 years, died March 8 at his home in Pitman. Born in Camden, he graduated from Pitman High School in 1968 and was a Life Member of Pitman Fire Patrol. He was employed by the Gloucester County Sheriff's Department for 25 years and retired in 2008. Ed loved to fish, travel to Florida, and go to the Casino. He enjoyed having a camper in the Tamerlane Campground for 10 years and was an avid pinochle player. He is survived by his wife of 24 years, JoAnne (nee Whitley), children; Edwin III (Jennifer), Katie Abram, Lee Abram, Donald (fiance Brenda), Frank David (Jodi), and Michael Allen. Also survived by his grandchildren Dustin, Jonathan, and Cassandra, and brother Franklin R. (Frances) Kircher. Friends may call on Wednesday from 9 to 11AM in the KELLEY FUNERAL HOME, 125 Pitman Avenue, Pitman, NJ. Funeral service at 11AM. Interment Eglington Cemetery.
