Obituary of William Edward Highley

William Edward Highley, age 71 died on April 9, 2013. Born and raised in Kentucky, William has lived in Glassboro since 1972. He was Superintendant for Valley Brook Country Club in Blackwood, retiring in 1997. William was an avid outdoorsman and enjoyed hunting, fishing, camping and Blue Grass country music. He especially loved spending time with his grandchildren. He is survived by his wife Florence R. (nee Wentz), children William Jr. (Robin), Robert L. (Donna), Nancy (Mohammed) Asjid, sister Mary Burton, grandchildren Lakhwinder "Lucky" Singh, Alyssa, Sierra and William Highley, III, Nicole, Natalie, Fateh, Fayyaz Asjid and Robert and Valerie Highley. Also survived by his beloved cat Smokey. Friends may greet the family on Monday after 9am in the Kelley Funeral Home, 125 Pitman Ave, Pitman, NJ. Funeral service will be at 11am.
