Obituary of William S. Staman

William S. Staman, age 83, died on April 7, 2013. Formerly of Haddonfield, NJ, he has lived for the past 26 years in the Endless Mountains of Pennsylvania. After graduating from the Philadelphia College of Art, William served in the US Army from 1951-1953. He worked as a Commercial Artist for RCA, retiring after 35 years. He was a Charter Member of Trinity Presbyterian Church in Cherry Hill, where he was a Sunday School Teacher and Youth Leader. William was an avid naturalist, gardener and water color artist. He was predeceased by his wife Mary Sue (nee Nichols) and brother John Peter Staman. He is survived by his children Linda Sue (Charles) Watkins, Gregory (Stacey), Pete (Lori), grandchildren Erin (David) Hogue, Justin Watkins and Drew, Kali and Lauren Staman, great grandson Benjamin Hogue, sister Jill Herring and many nieces and nephews. A Memorial service will be held at the First Presbyterian Church of Pitman on May 4th at 3 pm; all are welcome and warmly encouraged to greet the family following the service at a reception in celebration of Bill's life.
