Obituary of James G. Horan

James G. Horan, age 84 years, died on April 13 at his residence in Pitman. Born in Mt. Carmel, PA, he was a graduate of the University of Southern Alabama and was a life guard in Wildwood as a young man. He served his country in the United States Navy, Army and Marine Corps from 1946-49. He moved to Pitman in 1994 from Scotch Plains, NJ. He was a retired Research Scientist and a lifetime member of the American Legion. He was an avid Civil War and Military History enthusiast. He is survived by his wife of 25 years, Barbaraellen (nee McDonnell) and 2 daughters. Funeral services will be private.
